Soda

How to remove ink from leather furniture?

The process of cleaning natural and artificial leather should begin immediately after ink gets on their surface, since these materials perfectly absorb any coloring substances. Before using any stain remover, be sure to test on an inconspicuous area of ​​the interior material to avoid damage to your valuables.

 

For the most effective pollution control, use the following products:

  • Soap solution. This tool is perfect for fresh spots. Use household soap or any dishwashing detergent to prepare a high concentration solution. Wipe the dirt thoroughly with a solution and rinse it off with clean water, then wipe it dry with a soft cloth.
  • Salt. A fresh stain from a ballpoint pen can be easily removed from the furniture with a soapy solution if you add a little salt to it. Apply the concentrate to the problem area and leave for 2 hours. After - use a clean cloth dampened with water to remove the product and wipe the surface dry.

  • Ammonia. It is an effective tool for removing contaminants of various origins. Ammonia can be used to remove stains on clothing from eco-leather.   • Lemon. Moisten a soft cloth with lemon juice and wipe the contaminated area with it. Repeat the process until ink is completely removed.

Important! Lemon can be replaced with a solution of vinegar with the obligatory removal of its residues with clean water.

  • Alcohol. Dampen the cloth in alcohol, wipe the contaminated surface. After treatment, cover the area with glycerin. Alcohol can be used to remove stains on furniture made of artificial leather.
